INTRODUCTION

What is Ayo
Ayo is a company that makes smoothies sold in supermarkets, coffee shops, and various other outlets. They reached out and wanted to
re-brand the company to give off a more modern, healthy, and friendly look while keeping the values of the company still in mind.

The Research
Their target market is mainly for young active adults that don't have time to sit down and eat a nutritious meal. I interviewed several young adults at a coffee shop on what they think of first when they hear the word "smoothie," and the top answer was color.
Knowing this, I decided that the color palette chosen for the brand would be a strong selling factor.
Based on the analysis, I felt that a sans-serif or hand letting font would look inviting, friendly, and modern. These are a couple of rough logos that I sent to Ayo for them to choose.

The Final Logo
After some back and forth feedback, they decided that the sans-serif rounded font would work best as the final logo. They felt that the wordmark provided wasn't straying too far from their old logo, and that the new logo would be able to push their brand further.
FINAL TOUCH UPS

Package Design
They wanted their personality to be injected into their packaging. Ayo wants to be pushed as a simple nutritious product, that engages you when you see it.
The direction they want to push as mentioned earlier, is simplicity and color. With that information, we printed their logo onto a matte plastic bottle with bright colors accompanying it for each flavor. The style we went with was very minimal, as all the assets are small letting the colors take up the negative space.
